General Questions
What is your methodology?
I want to ensure that you learn in the best way possible, so I start with you. I will always ask you what you like and what you don't like so I can ensure that each session is created for your needs.
As such I am not a "methodology person" in the sense that I don't stick to one way of doing classes. My expertise is in adapting in an instant. You may come to me with an urgent presentation and we will work on that.
However rest assured that each session is fully prepared with a range of activities suited to your needs.
Are sessions conducted online or in-person?
All my sessions are conducted online via my video conferencing system.
With your permission each session is recorded for you to review the session and the notes I took.
How much is each session?
I prefer to work on a program basis.
I will assess your needs and then decide the best option. If have prices for both corporate clients, private clients and group sessions.
Let's book in a call and see what works for you.
What about flexibility?
I always ensure that flexibility is built in.
However I do ask that you give me at least 12 hours notice if you need to cancel or change a session.
How do I pay you?
Payment is made via bank transfer to my business account.
All sessions need to be paid prior to the session.
If you fail to cancel a session or do not turn up for a session, I reserve the right to charge you for that session.
Coaching Questions
What are your sessions like?
They are a mixture of coaching, teaching and mentoring.
I ensure that each session is fun and that we laugh and learn. To me this is essential.
If you're looking for boring, grammar based sessions, I am not the coach for you!
I will always ensure you leave each session with actionable content you can start using straight away.
Do you guarantee I will improve?
Absolutely not!
Now you may think that is a crazy thing for me to say but you see I can only show you what you need to know and guide you, but you must take action.
If you attend each session, review the session afterwards and start using the language structures we discussed then I guarantee you will see substantial progress.
However if you don't take action, then you won't see any progress.
Do you give homework?
That's up to you!
I always ask my clients if they have time to do homework, as I am not here to add more pressure to your working day.
If you would like homework I will set it, but I don't want to give homework and then you don't do it!
However I always give "living homework" - this means you take what you learn and you use it!
Can you change my accent?
No!
I am not an accent modification coach and to be honest I don't think you should modify your accent.
I will help you with pronunciation, however, I believe your accent makes you unique.
What I will help you with is tonality, speed and more which can make a huge difference.
